Our Lindal Elements Home Story

Tom and I were young dreamers when we built our first Lindal. We snagged a fantastic view lot in Fernie, one of the west's premier mountain towns, and were determined to build a small but special home. We customized a classic plan to make the most of the views and did a lot of the grunt work ourselves. When work forced a move a few years later we were sad to leave, but the tidy profit ensured there would be another Lindal in our future.

Five years later we built another Lindal at River's Crossing in Cranbrook, BC. Tucked into the Ponderosa Forest close to Shadow Mountain golf course our new home had to be big enough for our two small children, my parents and lots of company, but small enough to fit our budget. Our Lindal designer and dealers were very patient with us, as the design process brought us from Plan A to Plan O.

The end result is a wide open multi-generational home with plenty of space for family gatherings and a self-contained, private suite for my folks. We all love it!
